Appreciate us now...

That's right. You better appreciate us now before we disappear -- the male of the species that is.

According to an article on CNN.com, the male Y chromosome will stick around for a while and not fall extinct as previously thought. There was a study that the "Y" chromosome is degrading over time, and that one day, the male species could be doomed... in 10 million years.

You might be thinking... "That's crazy. That's a really long time from now!" But that may be the wrong way to approach it. Obviously, if CNN is reporting it, this is a very serious issue. Instead, we don't know who's right or wrong. Studies are never accurate, right? We can't necessarily throw out the possibility that tomorrow, us boys won't be here for you girls! So I think you girls should be nice to us now... because we're a dying species, driven to extinction. You may not miss us now, but when we're gone, who's going to drive you to your stinking shopping mall!

Not another IM App!

Hehe. That's all that we need. Another chatting application for the desktop. As if MSN, AIM, YIM, ICQ haven't already complicated the mix already. Sure, I'll chat with you in GIM. Hmm... speaking of which... they should call the app GIMP... "Google Instant Messaging Program"... ingenious.
